StoryBytes is dedicated to empowering student voices and amplifying the power of storytelling as a force for change. Through podcasts, comics, film, and digital media, we create a platform where student creators can share their perspectives, spark dialogue, and inspire meaningful impact every single day.

Our Founding

StoryBytes was founded in August 2024 by Isabel Paz, Ainhoa Osorio Torres, Michael Vargas Arango, and Victoria Cuellar, along with our adviser, Professor Emily Sendin. They united with a shared vision: to create meaningful stories just a click away from your screen. In its very first year, StoryBytes earned third place at the prestigious David L. Adams Apple Awards, competing against colleges from across the U.S. In 2025, the team received four Pinnacle awards, and our founding president, Isabel Paz, was named a finalist in the NPR Podcast Challenge.

Building on this strong foundation, StoryBytes continues to grow as a dynamic platform dedicated to delivering engaging, well-crafted content that connects, informs, and inspires. We’re committed to amplifying diverse voices and stories — all with the passion and creativity that define who we are.
