An immigrant family discovers that the American Dream is far more complicated than promised; they face hard truths about sacrifice, identity and what it really means to build a better life.

"I created You’re My American Dream as a love letter to my parents and immigrants in the United States. Many times people believe we are striving for material possessions when we strive for The, with capital t, American dream, but a lot of it comes from love to oneself and love to honor family. I wrote this film to showcase that.”

A group of corrupt government officials are betrayed by one of their own, and the remaining members must determine how to proceed without being caught. With high stakes and no room for error, the tension and growing distrust between the four leaves viewers wondering if their corruption will manage to stay in the dark.

"More often than not, we judge a book by its cover and interpret arbitrary decisions—evidently contrarian—as nothing more than what they appear to be. People rarely question their nature before jumping into conclusions, a tendency remarkably exemplified in politics, business and even, society at large. Following this thought, What Happens In The Dark emerged to pose a question: Must necessary evil exist in order to preserve goodness? What sacrifices genuinely serve a greater good, and which merely satisfy personal interests?"

When two young political activists are forcefully taken from a peaceful protest by the Venezuelan government, they find themselves having to choose between their, morals, love of country and their family's safety. What will they choose?

"La Comisaria was born to show to people —that might not be often exposed to the Venezuelan regime— what it is to live in a state of constant political censorship. It speaks on the constant paranoia, surveillance, and blackmailing that comes from these types of governments, urging the viewer to reflect on these issues."
